Music Together Vivo teachers are uniquely experienced professionals that are united in a common passion: sharing the joy of music with children and families in West Springfield and Lorton, VA. We create a fun, informal social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.
Jillian Rybalsky
Jillian has a BS in Music Education from New York University and has spent the last 20 years working for various educational businesses in management, administration and human resource capacities. She worked for the Music Together® Headquarters in Princeton NJ, teaching classes at the lab school and heading up the Educational Events Department for almost 10 years before relocating to Colorado. She has spent the last 9 years in NOVA, where she lives with her husband and two (now senior) rescue dogs. Jillian took over as Director of Music Together Vivo in 2023 and is thrilled to be bringing the joy of Music Together to families in her community once again!
Jennifer Forgét
Jennifer Forgét is a music professional with nine years of elementary teaching experience. She attends Music Together classes with her two children and is glad to start leading classes of her own in Fall 2023. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Jennifer has lived in Northern Virginia for eight years. She earned a Masters in Education from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelors in Music Education from Nazareth College.
Cheryl Sabo
Cheryl Sabo earned her Master of Music degree from Arizona State University. As a flutist, she toured with chamber music and storytelling group Tales & Scales before relocating to Virginia for her spouse's work. Cheryl loves teaching Music Together because it enables her to use her background in dance to explore movement and music with young children and their grown-ups. She is a certified Kripalu yoga and YogaDance teacher and has been a licensed Music Together Center Director since 2001.
All of the Music Together Vivo teachers have successfully completed the Music Together® Teacher Training developed by the Center for Music and Young Children® in Princeton, NJ and continue to participate in professional development workshops.
